About

From the days that I played music for a living and Deb was a corporate trainer, we both spent an inordinate amount of time on the road. Living out of a suitcase means eating in restaurants almost all of the time.

I still have memories of driving an equipment truck up the back of Idaho heading for Canada – an early stop at a grouping of cabins with a small coffee shop out front. There was one man running the place. When we inquired about breakfast, he said he’d have to go out back and slice the bacon… ah… that was good!

Those little roadside discoveries are treasures. I’ll never see that place again, but I’ve remembered it for thirty years.
